Development of prosthesis for replacement of upper limb prehensile function in amputee users
Abstract
This paper exposes the main features of the device designed to meet the specific needs of a plumber whose arm was amputated. It has the possibility of direct control through pedals, or indirectly through the muscle signal. At the same time, it is possible to exchange various clamping tools (pliers, clamps, etc.) and cut facilitating the work, labor inclusion and the autonomy.
