Haptic Plane of University City of the city of Córdoba
AbstractIn this project, a haptic plane was carried out for people with visual disability, in order to receive information from the physical space that surrounds them and its distribution to allow a space orientation. The perception of this information is conceived through the touch, since the plane was arranged in layers with different textures and contrasts. The contents of the map are concise, avoiding non-essential details that may result in unnecessary information. Furthermore, the names of the streets and buildings were referenced with their respective translation in braille system. According to the scope, the plane was tested with blind people where its usefulness was corroborated, achieving the objective. Consequently, the plane will be located in Pabellón Argentina of university city of the city of Cordoba; being an accessibility tool for everybody.
